Handsome Clay & Mexican Chiminea

Our Mexican chims are imported by sea, having been hand-made in Mexico by artisans who do it for a living. It’s quite something to see, a highly skilled job. They’re made from roughly the same kind of clay that old-school terracotta plant pots are made of,  a good strong red clay. Some are glazed, a few are unglazed natural clay, most are painted.

We have designs incorporating Celtic symbolism including complex knots, fierce dragons and cut-out detailing. Some have 3D designs moulded onto the body then painted with a colourful finish. The shiny glazed versions come in a choice of jewel-like shades including scarlet, purple and green.

They’re all easy to light, burn clean, and leave barely any ash. And they’re all created so you can enjoy your garden more with the people you love.
