This is a gas barbecue with a difference thanks to the plancha, a traditional Spanish flat-top griddle on which you cook up treats with powerful 2.5kW stainless steel burners, each with instant piezo ignition. The enormous enamelled steel cooking plate measures a generous 83 x 36cm.

The BBQ itself rests on a strong platform with integral storage in the shape of a large shelf and two side tables, both at a good preparation and cooking height. Two wheels make it easy to move. It runs on propane or butane gas but propane is recommended because it’s hotter burn means better cooking. Buy your own 8mm diameter standard gas hose and gas regulator, either 28mBar for butane or 37mBar for propane, and you’re ready to go. They’re easily available online.
